We’ve got coating down to a science.
SAVE TIME AND MONEY
Machine parts, no matter how well maintained they are, break down over time. APS can revive worn down parts back into spec at a fraction of the cost of replacing it, typically within two weeks. Due to our high-quality materials and processes, coated parts outperform a new counterpart in most instances. Production castings with overbored holes or those shafts with under-size bearing surfaces can have another chance to be machined to spec. APS can use hard-facing instead of distortion-causing heat to provide a better surface for sensitive parts. We repair corrosion in pumps and valves with linings and patch reactor kettles and mixers. Save on material costs by discovering the best solution for your material repair needs.

The Arc Plasma Process: In-Depth
Uniform Coatings
Using the arc-plasma spray process, we can deliver durable, consistent coatings every time. This method uses a blazing hot gas plasma to melt a particulate material and transfer it to a substrate, where the material solidifies and becomes a powerful coating.
Perfect Delivery
Downstream from the arc, we use a carrier gas to inject powder and mix it with the plasma. When the powder melts, it is carried at the gas velocity to the substrate where it quenches and bonds to form a dense coating.
Powerful Bond
This versatile process utilizes both thermal and kinetic energy to provide the high bond strength associated with plasma spray coatings. The result is a high-quality, wear-resistant coating suitable for a variety of substrates. APS provides the best coatings available to protect and restore your equipment.
